Refund & Cancellation Policy
How Fintrack Labs Pro is delivered, how to cancel an auto-renewing plan, and the limited cases in which a payment is refunded.
Last updated: 27 August 2026 · Shyam Sundar (Sole Proprietor)
This policy applies to every purchase of Fintrack Labs Pro from Shyam Sundar (Sole Proprietor). It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. What you are buying
Fintrack Labs Pro is a digital service giving access to automated portfolio insights, the Pro Score, allocation analysis, goal forecasting and priority support, in periods of either 30 days or 365 days.
It is sold two ways, and which one you are buying is stated on the payment screen before you pay: AUTO-RENEWING, which renews each period by UPI Autopay until you cancel it, or ONE-TIME, which covers a single period and then expires. Launch Edition pricing, where offered, applies to the first payment only; renewals are at the regular published price.
All prices in Indian Rupees. Fintrack Labs is currently not registered under GST. Accordingly, GST is not charged on these prices and a GST tax invoice is not issued. Payment is by UPI through Razorpay.
2. Delivery
- Pro is delivered electronically to your existing Fintrack Labs account. Nothing is shipped and no physical goods are involved.
- Activation is automatic once payment is confirmed — normally within a few minutes. On an auto-renewing plan each renewal extends your access in the same way, without any action from you.
- If Pro has not activated within 24 hours of a successful payment, contact us and we will activate it or refund you in full.
3. Cancellation
If you bought an AUTO-RENEWING plan, you can cancel it at any time and without giving a reason, in either of two places: Settings → Plan inside the app, or the autopay or mandates section of your own UPI banking app. Both stop every future charge immediately, and you do not need to contact us to do it.
Cancelling stops future charges only. It does not cut short the period you have already paid for — Pro stays active until that period expires, and your account then returns to the Core plan with all of your data intact. Cancelling is not the same as a refund: the period you have already paid for is not refunded, in whole or in part. See section 4.
Before each renewal UPI Autopay requires a pre-debit notification, sent by Razorpay and your UPI app rather than by us and normally at least 24 hours in advance, so there is a window in which to cancel before a charge is taken. The mandate also carries a maximum amount per period, shown to you and approved by you when you set it up; your bank will not permit a charge above that amount.
If you bought a ONE-TIME plan, there is nothing to cancel. It is a single payment for a fixed period, no payment instrument is retained, and no further charge can be raised. Access simply expires at the end of the period.
You may stop using the Service, or delete your account, at any time.
4. General policy — no refunds for change of mind
Because a paid plan grants immediate access to digital features for the billing period you pay for, payments are non-refundable once made, including if you simply change your mind, stop using the Service, or forget to cancel before a renewal. This applies to both the initial payment and any automatic renewal.
You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal — you keep paid access for the remainder of the period you have already paid for, and are not charged again. We do not provide partial or pro-rata refunds for the unused portion of a billing period after cancellation.
Please check the plan, its price and its validity period before you pay. On an auto-renewing plan your UPI app sends a pre-debit notification before each charge, normally at least 24 hours in advance, so there is a window in which to cancel before a renewal is taken.
The following are the exceptions. In each of these cases we will refund you, provided you tell us within 30 days of the charge:
- Duplicate charge — you were charged more than once for the same purchase.
- Non-delivery — you were charged but Pro was not activated on your account within 24 hours.
- Our error — you were charged the wrong amount, or charged because of a fault on our side.
- Withdrawn feature — we permanently remove a material Pro feature during a period you have already paid for, and cannot restore it. In that case we refund the unused portion pro rata.
- Termination without cause — we suspend or close your account without cause while you hold an unexpired paid period. We refund the unused portion pro rata.
5. How to request a refund
- Email [email protected] within 30 days of the charge, telling us which of the cases in section 4 applies.
- Include the registered email on your account, the UPI transaction reference, the date, and the amount.
- We acknowledge every request within 2 business days and decide within 7 business days.
- Approved refunds go back to the UPI account that made the payment, within 5–7 business days of approval. Your bank may take a little longer to display it.
- If we decline, we will tell you why in writing.
6. Chargebacks
If something has gone wrong, please contact us first at [email protected] — we would rather fix it directly and quickly than through a dispute process.
7. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other applicable law. Unresolved complaints may be escalated to our Grievance Officer:
